Edinburgh Global Research Scholarship is offered to all Doctoral students of the university.

9. University of West England

They offer UWE Chancellor’s Scholarship and all the master’s students in the university can apply for it. The only eligibility criteria is that you should be admitted only based on your IELTS score. They offer 50% off on tuition fees.

This university offers Developing Solutions Scholarship to 105 Master’s students. The eligibility criteria is that the students must be from any of the Commonwealth countries. They offer 50% - 100% off on tuition fees.

1. Mary Trevalyan Hardship Fund:

This scholarship grants a loan of up to £1,000 to students in London. They accept applications throughout the year. 

Who can apply to this scholarship

• Students who are studying full-time at a recognised higher education institution in London. 

• If you are looking for financial help, this scholarship is perfect for you. 

• If you hold an ISH resident membership, or you are a non-british student with ISH resident membership, you can apply. 

Points to remember:

• The amount granted varies according to every individual and their circumstances. 

• The average grant is between £400-£600.

• The grant cannot be used to pay university tuition fees.

2. ARU Sports Scholarships: 

Direct support to all sporty and talented students is given to people who study at ARU. If you are a student participating in the ARU performance sports of basketball and volleyball, the scholarship is available for you. They also have exceptions for individuals who participate in individual sports and who are competing at the top level. 

Scholarship Grant:

• There are two levels of scholarship ranging from £1,400 up to £12,500 per year.

• The two levels are - Podium level and Elite level.

• Podium level is offered to students who are at an international level in sports or can successfully fight at the top level of university sport. This is worth up to £12,500 per year.

• Elite level scholarship is £1,400 per year for students who compete at regional or national level.

Eligibility

• Meet entry requirements of the chosen course.

• International students, UK and EU students can apply. 

• You should be studying in an undergraduate or postgraduate course in their campuses - Cambridge, Chelmsford or ARU Peterborough.

• Be competing at national or regional level or international level in sports to get hands on Elite level or Podium level scholarship respectively.

3. Academic Excellence Scholarships:

The academic excellence scholarship is open for all full-time UK undergraduate students with a 3.50 or greater cumulative grade points. If you have completed at least 12 semester hours at the university, you are eligible for it. 

This scholarship grants a limited number of non-renewable awards of $1,500 for the 2024-2025 academic year.

4. International Ambassador Scholarship:

The international Ambassador Scholarship is intended to provide financial support to candidates who showcase enthusiasm and are perfect to be an international student ambassador. The university of London provides 20 scholarships worth up to £1,000 towards first year undergraduate and postgraduate tuition fees for international fee-paying applicants applying to start in September 2024.

Eligibility

• On-campus students, whether enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs are eligible. 

• All are eligible for applying except EU citizens. 

Scholarships worth 5,000 GBP on first-year undergraduate tuition fees and 2,000 GBP on postgraduate tuition fees are awarded at the University of West London. 

5. Leeds International Foundation Year Scholarships:

This scholarship is awarded automatically if you satiate all the following requirements -

• You must be an international student. 

• You must have successfully completed the University of Leeds International Foundation Year. 

• You must be self-funded

Value:

This scholarship gets you £2,000 per year which is subject to progression. 

6. Bradford Undergraduate Bursary Scheme:

The University of Bradford is devoted to helping students from all backgrounds and from all over the world to access higher education. As per the latest news, they are offering a cash bursary to all home students whose family’s income is lower than £30,000 a year.

Eligibility: You must be a full-time undergraduate student. It is available to prospective students.
